A social media user, simply identified as Ella, has taken to microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter) to demand justice following the tragic death of her two-year-old daughter allegedly at a Lagos private school.

Ella shared the heartbreaking story on Thursday, claiming that her daughter, who left for school on Wednesday, did not come home alive.

In her post, Ella wrote, “Dear Lagos State Government, our daughter of two years old went to school yesterday (Wednesday) and did not return alive.”

She questioned the school’s safety measures, saying, “How do you have a pool in school premises without proper monitoring? They lied she drowned in the pool, but we have been able to find out that it’s electrocution, and they dropped her in the pool to look as if it was drowning.”

Ella further alleged the school’s lack of transparency about the incident, adding, “Now, they are lying to other parents that school is closed because of maintenance instead of telling the truth.

“If nothing is done to close down that school, other parents may cry for their own kids attending the school.”

Highlighting concerns over the school’s safety, Ella wrote, “The pool has barricades. How can a child of two years climb? Please help us get justice for our baby. She just celebrated her second birthday November last year. She left home well for school on 15/1/2025 and never came back alive.”
