As the second session of the 2024 Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses concludes today, women have been urged to emulate the godly qualities of Lydia, a biblical figure, in order to stay focused on the Kingdom of God and navigate the challenges of the modern world.

Speaking at the convention, Mr. Samuel Olarenwaju, a representative of the Nigeria Branch Office of Jehovah’s Witnesses, highlighted the difficulties facing households globally. He emphasized that women who cultivate resilience, hard work, and godly devotion, following Lydia’s example, will excel in overcoming these challenges.

Convention Chairman for the Ibadan 2 region, Mr. Peter Akinyemi, reiterated the importance of the convention, stressing that attendees should remain calm and steadfast, trusting in God’s Kingdom as the ultimate solution to the economic and social challenges facing humanity today.

The 2024 Regional Convention aims to strengthen the faith and resilience of attendees, offering practical biblical advice to cope with the ever-increasing challenges in the world.
