Renowned gospel movie producer and actor, Moses Korede Are, widely known as Baba Gbenro, has passed away. Baba Gbenro, best known for his role in the popular Mount Zion series *Abattoir*, was a prominent figure in the Christian drama ministry.
His death was announced yesterday by fellow gospel actor and producer, Oluwaseun Adejumobi, through a heartfelt post on his verified Instagram page.
Baba Gbenro was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, headquartered in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Through this platform, he made significant contributions to spreading the gospel via Christian drama.
He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Calvary Movies Television, using the medium to inspire, educate, and entertain audiences with faith-based content. His passing marks a significant loss to the gospel movie industry and the Christian community at large.
