At the closing ceremony of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) 2024 Batch B, Stream 2 Orientation Camp, several dignitaries gathered to celebrate the successful completion of the camp activities. The event, held at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp in Agege, Lagos, featured prominent attendees, including the representative of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, alongside the Lagos State Governor’s representative, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, who also serves as the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development.
In addition, the Lagos State Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa, and Tobi Makinde, daughter of the Oyo State Governor, were present at the occasion. The ceremony marked the culmination of weeks of rigorous training, team-building exercises, and community engagement, designed to prepare the corps members for their national service year.
The dignitaries commended the corps members for their dedication, resilience, and spirit of service to the nation, while urging them to continue to be good ambassadors of their states and the NYSC program as they embark on their assignments across various sectors of the country.
