Olori Folashade, wife of the Ooni of Ife, has addressed the rationale behind her son’s designation as Crown Prince amidst public discourse. Alongside sharing intimate baby bump photos, she underscored that her son’s heritage from two prominent ruling houses qualifies him for this esteemed position.

In a heartfelt message posted online, she expressed gratitude to Olodumare for safeguarding her pregnancy, which she and her husband, Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi, kept private. She also lavished praise on her supportive husband, acknowledging him as her pillar and “Crown Jewel,” while highlighting the significance of their journey together.

Acknowledging the familial support received, she thanked her sister and personal assistant for their unwavering support during the nurturing of their “prestigious Crown Prince,” who embodies both the Ooni Adagba Royal compound of Lafogido ruling House and the Ooni Agbedegbede Royal compound of Giesi ruling House.

Additionally, Olori Folashade encouraged mothers to affirm and envision greatness for their children without hesitation, asserting that it is their inherent right and responsibility to do so.
