The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Kamorudeen, visited Olorunda-Aba on Tuesday to inspect the ongoing road dualization project in the area.
Addressing a group of hopeful indigenes and residents, Kamorudeen expressed satisfaction with the progress. “We’re here today to check on the progress being made on this road dualization project. I want to say thank you to the project manager, Mr. Jamil Abdullah, the Samchase Group, construction workers, and everybody who is contributing to the progress of work being recorded here,” Kamorudeen said.
He further commended Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for facilitating the significant project, emphasizing the multiple benefits it will bring, including spurring urbanization in Olorunda-Aba and its surrounding areas.
Project manager, Engr. Jamil Abdullah, assured the council chairman that the construction team is doing everything possible to deliver the project on time.
