The statement reads in part:
“I would like to extend my deepest thanks to several individuals and groups. First, to the Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for providing me with this opportunity to serve. Secondly, to the critical stakeholders, including traditional rulers, elder statesmen, party members, friends, families, and associates, for their relentless support from the inception of our campaign through to the election and the inauguration ceremony on Friday. My chairmanship would not have been possible without their outstanding efforts, and I am sincerely grateful,” the council chairman said.
Further in the statement, Chairman Kamorudeen emphasized his commitment to building on the foundation of unity and close engagement that characterized his campaign, aiming for better governance results during his administration.
“I am aware of the high expectations for this new administration.
