The executive chairman of the Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has reassured traders in the Ido market that there is no truth to the rumor that they will be ejected after the market’s reconstruction.
Chairman Adeojo addressed this concern during the commissioning of a motorized borehole for the Ido market. He stated that traders with valid allocation papers will retain their shops post-reconstruction, and additional shops will be available for new traders.
Hon. Adeojo explained, “The government plans to reconstruct Ido market to meet modern standards and extend it within the market’s land area.” He emphasized that the redesigned market will accommodate both weekly and daily traders without any disruptions.
