Ibadan North Local Government’s chairman-elect, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, visited the outgoing chairman, Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro, yesterday, ahead of the May 24 swearing-in ceremony.
The visit highlighted a smooth leadership transition and the camaraderie between the two leaders.
Held at the Ibadan North council, the meeting was marked by a warm and friendly atmosphere, with Olufade and Biiro exchanging pleasantries, reflecting their cordial relationship.
During the visit, Hon. Biiro introduced Hon. Olufade to various departments, heads of Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), and council staff, familiarizing him with the operations and personnel he will soon oversee.
Council staff expressed their enthusiasm and support for the new leadership, wishing Olufade well in his forthcoming duties.
