Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the executive chairman of Ido Local Government, has initiated the distribution of Federal Government grains palliative received from the state government. To ensure effective distribution, the chairman previously inaugurated a 15-member committee tasked with developing a fair distribution plan.
During an address at the local government hall, Hon. Adeojo advised beneficiaries to maintain orderliness to facilitate the committee’s work. He emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability, urging committee members to strictly adhere to the distribution list. He also called on group representatives to be fair to those they represent.

Hon. Adeojo took the opportunity to urge local government residents and citizens statewide to avoid participating in any protests, warning that such actions could be exploited by hoodlums and lead to chaos. He reassured the public that both state and federal governments are actively working to address food scarcity and provide solutions in the interest of the populace.
Supporting the chairman during the distribution exercise were the Chief of Staff, newly appointed supervisors, Special Assistants to the local government, and career officers.
