Former Minister, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, Takes Baby Mama Hadiza, Nigeria’s IGP, and Others to Court

Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, a former Minister of Special Duties under ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has taken legal action against his alleged lover-turned-baby mama, Hadiza Musa Baffa, and other parties, including the Nigeria Police Force and the Inspector General of Police. The case arises amid allegations made by Hadiza’s daughter, who claims that Turaki exploited and violated her, alleging that he “harvested” eight pregnancies for suspected ritual purposes and is now threatening her life.

In what appears to be an attempt to prevent any legal recourse from being pursued, Turaki, who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has reportedly dragged Hadiza, the Nigerian Police Force, the Inspector General of Police, and several others to court. The hearing for the case is scheduled for September 25, 2024.

Hadiza’s mother has reportedly refused to support her daughter, expressing disapproval of her decision to publicly accuse the former Minister.
