First Bank Breaks Ground for Nigeria’s Tallest Green-Certified Headquarters at Eko Atlantic

First Bank will hold a groundbreaking ceremony today for its new, green-certified headquarters at Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.
In a statement, Acting Group Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Olayinka Ijabiyi, announced that the 40-story structure is set to become Nigeria’s tallest building.
Described as an engineering and environmental marvel, the project will feature cutting-edge, eco-friendly design elements that establish a new benchmark for the financial services sector in Africa.
Ijabiyi noted that the ceremony marks the start of a transformative journey, reinforcing First Bank’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Designed with sustainability at its core, the headquarters aims to minimize operational costs while positioning First Bank as a leader in sustainable banking.
