Former Super Eagles midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju, popularly known as “Headmaster,” has thrown his weight behind new Super Eagles coach, Finidi George, ahead of the team’s quest to qualify for the next FIFA World Cup.

In an exclusive interview with Success FM’s Akeem Lawal, Adepoju expressed his confidence in Finidi’s ability to lead the team to success, citing his foreign training and experience as a former player.

“Finidi is on par with any foreign coach,” Adepoju said. “He has received top-notch training abroad and has a deep understanding of the game. I believe he has what it takes to lead the Super Eagles to the World Cup.”

Adepoju also urged the players to give Finidi the respect he deserves and to give their best on the field, as their efforts could be noticed by influential observers. “The players need to rally behind Finidi and give him their full support. Their hard work and dedication could be the key to unlocking their potential and achieving success on the international stage,” he added.

Adepoju’s endorsement of Finidi comes as a boost to the new coach, who faces the daunting task of leading the Super Eagles to the World Cup amidst fierce competition from other African teams. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Finidi is poised to make a positive impact on the team and lead them to victory.
