As part of activities to mark the International Anti-corruption Day,The Economic Financial crime commission EFCC today organised a Town Hall meeting at the main Ultra modern Hall of the Federal College of Agriculture Moor Plantation Apata Ibadan.
The Town Hall meeting provides a platform for stakeholders across critical sectors – youth organisations, civil society organisations, media, selected heads of government agencies and development partners to discuss a range of issues around the theme of the 2024 International Anti-Corruption day which is, “Uniting with Youths Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity.
Earlier in her address, The chairman Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Mr Olukoyede represented by the acting Zonal Director Ibadan Zonal directorate Hajia Hauwa Garba Ringim said Youths need collaborative efforts for progressive innovations and this cannot be achieved in a corrupt environment.
The Town Hall Meeting had in attendance the Oyo state commissioner of Police Mr Sonubi Ayodele who was represented by DCP Agbaminoja Toyin, state commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps represented by the deputy Commandant DC Ademola Rahaman ,State Director National Orientation Agency Dr Oluwakemi Afolayan,and other stakeholders.
