Dangote Petroleum Refinery recently announced a reduction in the price of diesel to ₦940 per liter for bulk purchases of at least 5 million liters and ₦970 per liter for purchases of 1 million liters or more. This is part of its effort to alleviate economic challenges in Nigeria and ensure affordability for consumers.
The refinery has also partnered with MRS Oil and Gas to make these lower prices accessible at retail stations across the country. Additionally, aviation fuel prices have been reduced to ₦980 per liter. The move has been praised for its potential to lower energy costs and support critical sectors like transportation and agriculture, ultimately helping to reduce inflation.
