Commitment to Peace: FG Reaffirms Resolve to End Insecurity in Nigeria

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to addressing the pervasive challenges of insecurity plaguing various regions of the country.

Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, reiterated this commitment during a visit to Yobe State as part of a presidential delegation. The visit aimed to extend condolences and solidarity to the government and people of the state following the recent tragic incident in Mafa community.

Edun emphasized that the delegation’s presence underscored the Federal Government’s determination to tackle insecurity comprehensively and foster lasting peace and stability nationwide.

Accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, representing President Bola Tinubu, Edun further assured that significant strides were being made towards the cessation of terrorism and banditry in Nigeria.
