The leadership of the Nigerian Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has partnered with an indigenous internet service provider, Trident Net Wireless Nigeria Ltd., to enhance internet accessibility for students in tertiary institutions across the country. To formalize this collaboration, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during a ceremony held at Eleyele Road, opposite the Police Command Headquarters, Ibadan.

The MoU marks the launch of a pilot scheme aimed at providing affordable internet access to students within campuses nationwide. This initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that Nigerian students can leverage technology to advance their academic pursuits.

Speaking at the event, representatives of Trident Net Wireless Nigeria Ltd. expressed their commitment to the success of the project, emphasizing their goal to see students maximize this opportunity to compete effectively with their peers on a global scale.
