In a proactive move to prevent the spread of cholera and other waterborne diseases, the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has officially launched the chlorination of wells in Ward Eight of the local government area.
Speaking at the launch, Hon. Adeojo emphasized that the health and well-being of the residents are a top priority for his administration. He highlighted that the chlorination initiative is aimed at curbing the potential outbreak of cholera and other waterborne diseases across Ido Local Government.
The chairman called on councilors, supervisors, and special assistants to ensure the successful implementation of the exercise across all wards within the local government
Hon. Oyepeju Kazeem Olawale, the councilor representing Ward Eight, expressed gratitude on behalf of the residents, commending the chairman for prioritizing the health and safety of the grassroots community.
