The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government Area, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has pledged his administration’s strong commitment to child support initiatives and protection programs.
In a statement issued by his office in commemoration of Children’s Day on Monday, the council chairman emphasized his dedication to addressing critical issues affecting children.
Kamorudeen assured that his administration plans to leverage existing laws at the state and national levels. He also highlighted the importance of partnerships with local schools, families, child-focused organizations, and communities. These efforts aim to tackle teenage pregnancy, child labor, bullying, out-of-school issues, and other crises that put children at risk within the local government area.
“We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all children in Lagelu. By working together with stakeholders, we will address these challenges and ensure the well-being of our children,” Kamorudeen stated.
