Children funfair mayhem: Ido council chair, Adeojo sympathies with families affected

The Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has expressed heartfelt sympathy to the families of the affected children in the Ibaban funfair stampede over the ugly incident.

Hon. Sheriff Adeojo expressed deep concern over the purported number of casualties recorded in the stampede that occurred at a private children funfair held at Islamic High School, Basorun, Ibadan.

The chairman appreciated His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the swift mobilization of the medical team to the venue of the incident.

The chairman, in his condolence message to the families of the affected children in the stampede equally appealed to the management of the hospitals where other victims are receiving treatment to please give them adequate attention to prevent further causality.
