The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has released the list of newly recruited teachers and caregivers, marking the conclusion of the first phase of its recent recruitment exercise.
The announcement was made by the SUBEB Chairman, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, in Ibadan, who revealed that the list had received approval from Governor Seyi Makinde.

The list will be available on the portal starting Saturday, November 23, 2024.
Dr. Adeniran stated that the 5,600 successful teaching applicants and 80 caregivers will undergo a verification exercise at the Board’s headquarters. Further details, including the dates for the verification exercise, will be communicated to the candidates in due course.
The SUBEB Chairman emphasized that the recruitment process was fair and devoid of any political, religious, ethnic, or gender bias. He highlighted that selection was strictly merit-based to ensure the highest standards in the state’s education sector.
Dr. Adeniran encouraged the newly recruited teachers to view their appointments as an opportunity to serve, urging them to be diligent and dedicated to their roles. He assured that the recruitment exercise would continue, with more successful applicants set to be employed in subsequent phases.
