Amala Festival Organizers Pay Official Visit to Oyo State Agency for Youth Development Chairman

On September 4th, 2024, the organizers of the Amala Festival paid an official visit to Prince Adebowale Falana, Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, at his office in the Oyo State Secretariat, Ibadan. This marked the first official visit by the festival’s organizing team to the chairman.

Prince Falana warmly welcomed the organizers, who took the opportunity to outline the objectives and vision behind the creation of the Amala Festival. They explained that the festival, now in its third edition, is designed to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the South West, Nigeria, through food, culture, and entertainment. This year’s festival, themed “Amala Festival Rave: Lifestyle Edition,” aims to offer attendees a unique experience that immerses them in the vibrant cultural delights of the region while also providing top-tier entertainment.

The festival has garnered significant attention since its inception, consistently attracting a diverse and influential audience, particularly among youths, fun-seekers, and cultural ambassadors. With the anticipated attendance of over 5,000 guests this year, the organizers highlighted the festival’s growing popularity and impact, noting that previous editions have witnessed massive turnouts.
