The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has extended heartfelt condolences to Chief Bayo Lawal, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, following the passing of his wife, retired Justice Beatrice Asesuwa Lawal.
Justice Beatrice Asesuwa Lawal’s passing was announced on Monday, marking the end of a long struggle with illness.
In a condolence message on behalf of Ido Local Government and his political team, Hon. Adeojo expressed his deep sympathy to Chief Lawal, noting that news of her passing has been met with profound sadness among the community.
Reflecting on life’s transience, Adeojo acknowledged death as an inevitable passage for all, stating, “I offer my condolences to our esteemed leader, Chief Bayo Lawal, on the passing of his beloved wife, Justice Beatrice Adesuwa Lawal, a woman who led an exemplary career as a lawyer and judge. Regardless of age, the loss of a loved one is deeply felt.”
Adeojo further described Justice Lawal as not only Chief Lawal’s life partner but also a compassionate and supportive influence in his personal, social, and political life. “Beyond her role as a cherished wife, the late Madam Adesuwa was a resilient woman whose strength positively impacted Chief Lawal and all who knew her,” he added.
Hon. Adeojo encouraged Chief Lawal, celebrated as a leader and guiding light in Oyo State politics, to find solace in the enduring legacy his wife leaves behind.
