The Ibadan Traditional Council in Ibadan Northeast Local Government Area has expressed deep gratitude to the council’s chairman, Ibrahim Akintayo, for his continuous and unwavering support to the council and Ibadan as a whole.
This acknowledgment was made during a program organized to celebrate His Royal Majesty, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakunlehin, Ige Olakunlehin I. Speaking on behalf of the traditional chiefs, Chief Nurudeen Akinade commended Chairman Akintayo for his steadfast commitment to the traditional council and elders in the community. He praised Akintayo’s exemplary leadership, noting that his dedication to the well-being of Ibadan Northeast is second to none.
The statement, released by Ikeoye Ayetoro, the Information Officer of Ibadan Northeast Local Government, described Akintayo as a custodian of traditional values, highlighting his role as a dependable representative and a proud son of Ibadanland. The traditional council emphasized his outstanding contributions to the preservation of Ibadan’s rich heritage.
In response, Chairman Akintayo thanked the traditional council for their continued support and pledged to maintain a close working relationship with them. He prayed for the long reign of the Olubadan and the ongoing prosperity of Ibadan.
