The executive chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, attended the monthly prayer session organized by the local government staff yesterday.

Held every first Monday of the month, the event is a time for staff to pray for a fruitful month and the progress of the local government. This session marked the prayers for July, and Hon. Olufade participated with joy, dancing alongside the staff and expressing gratitude to God.

During the event, Hon. Olufade emphasized his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the staff, recognizing them as the key drivers of the local government’s success. “I urge all staff to remain dedicated to their duties, as Ibadan North is the Pacesetter Local Government for the remaining 32 local governments in Oyo State,” he said.

He also requested the staff to keep him in their prayers to ensure effective leadership and continuous progress for Ibadan North.

Hon. Olufade opened the floor for staff to voice their demands, many of which centered on improving their welfare. In response, he assured them that their well-being is his top priority and promised to address most of their concerns before the next monthly prayer session. Additionally, he announced that the next event would combine prayer and a welcome party to celebrate with the staff.

The staff expressed their joy, noting that this was the first time an executive chairman had danced with them in celebration. They pledged their full support to the chairman and committed to performing their duties diligently.

The event was also attended by the Vice Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Akeem Ayoade, and the serving councilors, led by the leader of the Ibadan North Legislative Council, Hon. Adebola Taiwo. Hon. Olufade’s entourage included his Chief of Staff, Hamdy Mustapha; his Special Assistant on Education, Oloye Temitope Ajibola; his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola; and a member of the media team, Ayodamope Afolabi.
