Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde today approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of his administration.
The reshuffle includes the following changes:
– Hon. Ademola Ojo, formerly the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives, has been appointed as the new Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters. Hon. Ojo brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Oyo State chapter.
– Hon. Segun Olayiwola, who was overseeing the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Establishment and Training. His tenure in the previous role was marked by significant advancements in local governance and chieftaincy affairs.
– Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi, the former Commissioner for Establishment and Training, will now take charge of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives. His previous accomplishments in workforce development and training are expected to drive new investments and industrial growth in Oyo State.
This reshuffle is effective immediately. Governor Makinde is confident that these strategic changes will strengthen his administration’s commitment to good governance and sustainable development across Oyo State.
