Council Boss Akintayo Supports Qualitative Education, Donates to Local School

In a significant step towards enhancing educational infrastructure, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (Omu Yes), has donated nine white chalkboards to Okebadan High School. This initiative aligns with his administration’s commitment to prioritize qualitative education within the council area.

 

In a press release signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Chairman emphasized that the donation is part of ongoing efforts to create a conducive learning environment for students. “We are committed to providing the necessary tools and resources to support our students’ academic success,” Hon. Akintayo stated.

 

The Principal of Okebadan High School, Mr. Oluwemimo Solomon Olasunkanmi, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation. “We appreciate the support of the local government in enhancing our school’s infrastructure. These chalkboards will greatly improve our teaching and learning experiences,” he remarked.

Hon. Akintayo reaffirmed his dedication to supporting education in the council area. “We will continue to prioritize initiatives that promote qualitative education and improve the overall well-being of our students,” he said, underscoring his administration’s resolve to invest in the future of the youth through education.
