The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has appointed Hamdy Mustapha as his Chief of Staff. The announcement was made today, Monday, June 10, 2024, with the appointment letter issued to Mustapha in Olufade’s office at the Ibadan North Local Government council. This information was contained in a statement signed by Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Head of Media Unit to the Ibadan North Local Government Chairman.
Hamdy Mustapha, the newly appointed Chief of Staff, is the son of the well-known politician and PDP federal House of Representatives aspirant for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency in 2007, Hon. Mustapha Habeeb (Repete). In addition to his political background, Hamdy Mustapha is also a businessman and a petrochemical engineer.
In his statement, Chairman Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade expressed his confidence in Hamdy Mustapha’s ability to perform his role diligently and effectively. He highlighted Mustapha’s diverse background and experience as valuable assets to his administration, stating:
“I am pleased to appoint Hamdy Mustapha as my Chief of Staff. His extensive experience in both the political and business spheres, coupled with his technical expertise as a petrochemical engineer, makes him uniquely qualified for this role. I am confident that he will bring fresh perspectives and dedicated service to our administration, contributing significantly to the development of Ibadan North Local Government.”
Hon. Olufade further emphasized the importance of this appointment in strengthening his team and ensuring effective governance for the benefit of the local community.
