The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Mr. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has met with the President of Lagelu Indigenes’ Club, Mr. Oguntola Gabriel Olusola, a former Permanent Secretary and affiliate of CCII, to discuss a proposed development planning and research committee for the local government area.
The meeting focused on engaging robust strategies and best practices to foster development and enhance democratic governance in the local government. Held at the council secretariat in Iyana-Offa, the half-hour meeting allowed the chairman to outline his plans to assemble a well-appointed development planning committee. This committee will consist of individuals dedicated to addressing various issues relevant to local development.
During the discussion, Mr. Kamorudeen emphasized the importance of the proposed committee in shaping public engagement and promoting social and community development in Lagelu. He expressed his commitment to deepening the developmental outlook of the local government area.
Mr. Oguntola Gabriel Olusola, President of Lagelu Indigenes Club and a former Permanent Secretary, commended the executive chairman for his bold vision and plans for Lagelu. He assured Mr. Kamorudeen of his full cooperation and support for the new administration.
