President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s dedication to the welfare of members of the Armed Forces and intelligence agencies, expressing optimism that Nigeria will overcome its myriad security challenges.
Speaking on Thursday at the inauguration of the Headquarters of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), President Tinubu, represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, pledged to equip the agencies with the necessary administrative and logistical support to enhance their productivity.
President Tinubu emphasized his commitment to sustaining the provision of welfare, training, logistics, and other administrative needs to ensure that the Armed Forces can effectively carry out their mandate. He stated:
“Our administration remains steadfast in its commitment to the welfare of our Armed Forces and intelligence agencies. We are optimistic that with continued support and provision of the necessary resources, Nigeria will successfully address the security challenges it faces. Alongside the entire Armed Forces of Nigeria, we will ensure the sustained provision of welfare, training, logistics, and other administrative requirements to enhance productivity and enable our Armed Forces to fulfill their mandate.”
The President’s assurance highlights the administration’s focus on enhancing the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces and intelligence agencies to secure the nation and maintain peace and stability.
