Ido local government council chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo extended greetings to all Muslims as they celebrate the month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is the ninth lunar month of the Islamic calendar observed by Muslims worldwide as a month for fasting, prayer, reflection, and assisting the needy.
Adeojo, in a released statement made available to the public by his media team, described Ramadan as a month of mercy and spiritual reflection, emphasizing that it fosters unity, solidarity, friendship, and harmony at their highest level,
urged Muslims observing the fast to embrace the profound lessons of piety, humility, and selflessness that the holy month embodies
” Ramadan, the 9th month in the Muslim calendar involves abstaining from food and drink from dawn until sunset, fostering self-discipline, spiritual growth, and empathy for those less fortunate

” It offers an opportunity for families and friends to unite in prayer, joyfully growing closer to God, as a reminder of the pious values of self-discipline and spiritual purification.
