Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the newly appointed Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, held his first security meeting on June 5, 2024. The meeting aimed to familiarize him with key security stakeholders and address pressing security issues. The meeting, held at the chairman’s office, included representatives from various security agencies such as the Police, Immigration, Customs, NSCDC, NDLEA, Amotekun, Operation Burst, DSS, and FRSC. Traditional rulers, Isese worshippers, the Christian Association of Nigeria, and the Chief Imam of Ibadan North Local Government were also in attendance.
During the meeting, security and community leaders congratulated Hon. Olufade on his new role and pledged their continued support to ensure the local government remains peaceful and secure. They expressed optimism for a successful tenure and positive community impact under his leadership.
