The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has commissioned a new borehole project for the residents of Akindele village and surrounding areas.
The borehole, located in ward three, aims to alleviate water scarcity and provide clean drinking water to the community. Adeojo highlighted that the project was in response to the community’s request during a stakeholders’ meeting initiated by Governor Seyi Makinde.
During the ceremony, Adeojo urged the Akindele community to maintain the borehole to ensure its long-term functionality.
Chief Musibau Olalere, Baale of Akindele village, expressed gratitude, praising Adeojo for fulfilling his campaign promises and improving the quality of life in the local government area.
The event was attended by Vice Chairman-elect Barrister Olayemi Oluwashina, PDP Chairman Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola, serving councillors, and other local party leaders.
